Every site seemed to quote something different, the costs were totally vague about what was actually included and most homeowners we spoke to had contacted three or four companies just to get a rough idea of what they would be paying. So we built this resource.

Once you submit the quote form, we contact roofing companies that are local to you and pass them your details. Please note that each roofing company is vetted by our network’s verification standards and they cover your area. They will get in touch with you with their quotes and you can then compare and choose the one that fits your requirements and budget. There is no cost for you to use our website and there’s no obligation to accept anything you are sent by roofing companies.
Why this cost guide exists
Before anyone gets to the quote stage, it is worth understanding what actually makes up the price that is being quoted by the companies. Roof size, material, access, labour and the extras that rarely show up in a headline number all play a part and that’s really the reasoning behind the detailed guide on this site.
Prices shift as material costs, labour rates and demand change so we go through our figures and update this website quarterly to keep them close to what’s actually happening in the UK market. If something on this page looks out of date to you, tell us through the contact page and we will update it.
The core mission of this platform is for you to go into the quoting process with a realistic idea of what to expect so you don’t get any surprises when the actual roofing work starts.
